Discover the art of bookmaking by designing and hand-binding your own artist book. Participants will learn the basics of Japanese stab binding while experimenting with page layouts, foldouts, pockets, and other creative book forms. Participants are encouraged to bring personal ephemera — such as photographs, letters, ticket stubs, maps, pressed flowers, or other meaningful papers and small keepsakes — to incorporate into their books.
